Having grown concerned with the drastic growth of obesity in China through fastfood, I investigated the cultural impact that this is having upon Chinese culture and healthcare system. Using the Chinese Zodiac calendar as a starting point, I created a book to document these findings. Each zodiac animal has been made ‘obese’, and its traits have linked to the behaviour of global fast food chains that operate within China. Each animal provides a colour reference to a fast food brand operating in China.
